STEW-MAP

Denver Environmental Stewardship Mapping and Assessment Project

Bringing valuable social capacity information to the Regional Vision for People + Nature and informing and connecting our partner network, the Denver Environmental Stewardship Mapping and Assessment Project (STEW-MAP) is designed to paint a picture of the region’s environmental stewardship “landscape”, documenting where the many private and public sector organizations work, how they are connected, and from where they source the information and tools that enable on-the-ground stewardship action and education.

Based on methodology developed by the New York City Urban Field Station and implemented in numerous cities nationwide and internationally, Denver STEW-MAP is the first collaborative research project of the Denver Urban Field Station (DUFS), of which Metro DNA is a founding and core team partner.

Metro DNA Project Map

Created by the 2019 CU Boulder Masters of the Environment Capstone Team, the Metro DNA Project Map allows partners to share their and explore others’ ongoing projects.
