Introducing Our New Administrator!

After helping lead the Metro DNA Regional Equity Assessment a few years ago, Sara Rose Tannenbaum is thrilled to be joining the Metro DNA team once again!

Sara Rose "Sa'ro" Tannenbaum is a facilitator, artist, and collaboration consultant working towards collective care of our environment and communities. They bring over 15 years of experience in coalition building and community engagement.

In 2016, their love for public lands led them to Colorado to advocate for federal land protections with the Center for Western Priorities. They then joined Conservation Colorado as a campaign manager, advancing key climate and environmental justice policies at the state level. Outside of work, you can find them chatting with their plants and neighbors in SW Denver, swimming and playing basketball at local rec centers, and serving as board chair for Ekar Farm in Aurora.

Please reach out to Sara Rose at the info at metrodna dot org account for any support around memberships, collaborations, or storytelling. We thank Erica Elvove for her stellar coordination these past two years and are grateful for her continued involvement via the Executive Committee!
